Supervision

I offer clinical supervision for practitioners and trainees seeking a supportive, reflective space to develop their practice. Supervision is an essential part of ethical and effective therapeutic work, providing time to consider your clients, reflect on clinical decisions, and continue building your professional identity.

My approach to supervision is collaborative, relational, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I aim to create a safe environment where you can speak openly about your work, explore challenges, and deepen your understanding of therapeutic processes.

I bring strong knowledge of ethical frameworks and the complexities of professional practice, helping supervisees navigate ethical dilemmas, risk, boundaries, and safe clinical decision-making.

A particular area of specialism is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I support supervisees in developing robust CBT formulation skills, applying interventions effectively, and integrating CBT with other therapeutic approaches where appropriate. Specialist CBT supervision can be difficult to access or costly, and I aim to provide high-quality, accessible supervision for practitioners who want to strengthen their CBT practice or work within an integrative framework.

I also have experience supervising counsellors and trainees across a range of therapeutic modalities. I value collaborative working and recognise that each practitioner brings their own style, strengths, and theoretical perspective. I strongly believe that learning across modalities can enrich clinical understanding and deepen therapeutic work.

Alongside my clinical practice, I am a lecturer and research supervisor in counselling and CBT. This allows me to bring current theory, research, and professional standards into supervision. I work with both qualified practitioners and trainees, tailoring supervision to your experience, modality, and professional goals.

My aim is to support you in developing a reflective, confident, and sustainable practice while ensuring your clients receive thoughtful, effective care. Supervision is available online.
